Small Straws In A Soft Wind by Marsha Burns: Refuse to be hurt by those who have rejected you. Rejection is a work of the enemy to break you down and make you feel small and insignificant. But, you need to know that I, the Lord, have not rejected. Forgive those who have made you feel rejected, and come to Me for healing of your soul, says the Lord. 

1 Peter 4:3-5 For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles–when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you. They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

January 31, 2025. My mother was a scientist and used to pull the car over when she saw a stagnant pool. She would get a container and get some of this water. She would put it under a microscope for us to examine all of the bacteria in this dirty water. The Lord says, “Don’t become stagnant. Movement is from Me. Let your waters be stirred so that evil doesn’t set in. Complacency and idleness allow the enemy a playground.

Ezekiel 47:8-9 “He told me, “This water flows east, descends to the Arabah and then into the sea, the sea of stagnant waters. When it empties into those waters, the sea will become fresh. Wherever the river flows, life will flourish—great schools of fish—because the river is turning the salt sea into fresh water. Where the river flows, life abounds.”   Robin Robinson Bohlin

January 31, 2025. Tick tock, tick tock goes the sound of the clock. No one has the ability to stop time. I see you fighting for more time, but I also see you wasting time. You must learn to manage your time wisely. Each day you are given the same amount of time to do what needs to be done. Be a good steward of the time you are given, there is a time to rest and a time to accomplish what I’ve called you to do.

January 31, 2013. (Reposted)  You have had a hard time getting started. There are several directions you can take and you don’t know which way to go first. Don’t busy your mind in thinking. Seek Me. Think of all the ways I led you in the past. I led you then and I can lead you now. I know how to get you started and which way to go. Rather than focus your mind on the directions, bring your mind and desires to Me. I have the perfect way and direction. Rest and meditate on Me. I have a different way for you to walk. Not in the way of busyness but in the way of joy.

January 31, 2013.  (Reposted)   You have often heard about people who apparently have a lot of “issues”. In fact you can see some of the difficulty some individuals have relating to others because of the problems/ baggage they have. Instead of keeping your distance, step forward and assist them. Recognize the heavy yoke they are under and help lighten the load. Haven’t you been in similar circumstances before and can identify with where they are? That’s why it is easy to understand what they are facing. Make time for individuals. Minister My love, compassion, empathy, and strength to them. Help shoulder the load carried by others and in turn release those “issues” up to Me.
