First Seal: A White Horse
And I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as a sound of thunder, Come and see! And I saw, and behold, a white horse. And the one sitting upon it having a bow; and was given to him a crown, and he went forth overcoming, and that he should overcome.
Second Seal: A Fiery Horse
And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come and see! And another horse, went forth fiery; and to the one sitting upon it was given to him to take the peace from the earth, that they shall slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.
Third Seal: A Black Horse
And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, Come and see! And I saw, and behold, a black horse; and the one sitting upon it having a yoke balance scale in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A choenix of grain for a denarius, and three choenices of barley for a denarius; and the olive oil and the wine do not wrong.

And I saw. And when He opened the sixth seal, even a great earthquake took place, and the sun became black as a sackcloth made of hair, and the moon became as blood; and the stars of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig-tree casts its immature figs being shaken by a great wind. And the heaven had been separated as a scroll being rolled, and every mountain and island from out of their places were shaken. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the commanders of thousands, and the rich, and the mighty ones, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the caves, and in the rocks of the mountains. And they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of the One sitting upon the throne, and from the anger of the lamb!
